Release of ScimoreDB v2.5 Embedded, Distributed and Server products

March 3th, 2008 - Scimore announces the release of the new free ScimoreDB Embedded, Distributed and Server versions. It includes major improvements in usability and compatibility with existing databases and standards.

The ScimoreDB engine that powers all Scimore products has been improved with:

• SQL language and SQL optimizer improvements
• T-SQL syntax
• Free-text search
• Blob compression
• In-memory transactions

The embedded database is exposed via intuitive GUI and .NET interfaces for easy access and database modifications. This drastically increases database manageability and development speed. ScimoreDB Embedded provides high concurrency, allowing multiple threads or processes/applications to work with a single database simultaneously.
